PMO (Project and Program Management Officer)
We are currently recruiting for PMO (Project and Program Management Officer) to work with our client based in the Banking Industry. The role is Hybrid and based in Dublin. This is initially a 6-month contract position with view towards extension.
 

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

  • Familiarity with financial services regulations, in particular EU regulations.
  • Ability to both work independently and collaborate with team members.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Excellent facilitation and communications skills as well as exceptional collaboration and influence skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with interacting at senior levels and demonstrating solid delivery against commitments.
  • Strong Stakeholder and Senior management engagement skills.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects at one time, across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong ability to coordinate, facilitate and manage work projects both on the ground and with remote units.
  • Execution with excellence and a sense of urgency, while possessing the ability to prioritize, strong attention to detail, and highly organized.
  • Strong data and analytical skills with experience in problem solving and using informed judgement and analysis.
  • Demonstrate a culture of one team, solution-focus, trust, and people-first.
  • Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative, and adaptive.
  • Positive attitude and willingness/ability to pick up work quickly when and where needed.


Experience/Education Requirements:

  • 6-10 years of project management experience - preferably in a large financial services firm, regulatory organization, or legal/consulting firm, or a combination thereof
  • PMP certification strongly preferred, Six Sigma a plus.
  • Ability to develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals.
  • Knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics.
  • Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis.
  • Manage project scope by assessing requirements changes, determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk.
  • Manage client expectations, anticipates operational and tactical risks and tracks them; clarify, identify, and track requirements and issues, remove barriers, resolve minor project issues and escalate to immediate manager where required.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, MS Project, VISIO, Adobe Acrobat Professional.
  • Bachelor's degree; experience in managing legal and/or compliance projects.
  • Experience of managing / working on complex regulatory projects, with variable stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions and within tight deadlines.
