Software Development Engineer
Candidate must have valid visa to work in Ireland (Stamp 1G/Stamp 4/EU Passport)
Responsibilities
- The engineers on this team provide release test planning, test execution and automating test scenarios
- The person will be responsible for Automation testing on the platform for all ongoing deliveries.
- Ability to work in Agile Environment
- Ability to manage multiple priority efforts in parallel and ensure Quality Assurance standards are followed
- Responsible for functional application testing.
- Prior experience testing web services/APIs.
- Prior experience testing Front-end Angular UI
- High-energy, detail-oriented, and proactive with the ability to function under pressure in an independent environment.
- Ability to ask question, clarify requirements and give clear status during the scrum calls
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written; able to communicate with technical people as well as management and business.
- Ability to be flexible, accountable, and reliable.
- Ability to come up with Out of Box testing approach and scenarios.
- Here is a short list of technical areas that a qualified candidate should be familiar with:
- Java - candidate should be well versed in writing Java code
- Junit and/or TestNg
- Selenium WebDriver
- REST services (optionally REST Assured or Apache REST libraries)
- SQL for relational databases (Oracle)
- Spring framework
- Focus on automation - pipeline deployments, automated regression, etc.
- Experience using and preferably contributing to automated test suites.
