Finance Manager

Our client a leading Irish manufacturer based in Nenagh Tipperary have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to join the team.

 

Responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Working with the current team to manage the day-to-day financial operations within the company, with particular emphasis on cash flow management
  • Engage with suppliers and sub-contractors to negotiate terms, discounts, rebates etc.
  • Track manufacturing costs, capacity and efficiency's to ensure cash flow is managed efficiently
  • Manage working capital and external finances
  • Provide monthly and quarterly financial forecasts
  • Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
  • Implement methods and systems for minimising financial risk to the company
  • Liaise with senior management to assist with long-term and short-term decision making
  • Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company
  • Preparation of Management Accounts, Bank, Creditors, VAT and Payroll Reconciliations on a monthly basis
  • Liaison with Company Auditors and managing the Audit Process
  • Management of KPI reporting

 

Education and Skills Required:

  • Relevant third level qualification.
  • Member of recognised Accounting Body - ACA/ACCA/CIMA or CPA
  • Minimum five year's experience in a financial management role.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills, especially Excel.
  • A good communicator both verbally and in writing with the ability to influence.
