An exciting opportunity has arisen in Plymouth for Fire Alarm service engineer, to join our client on a full-time temporary basis to February 2023. Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm, 37.5 hours potential overtime depending on work plan schedules payrate between £15-20.00 (depending on experience) per hour PAYE only
**A drug screening and DBS check will be required for the successful candidate**
The purpose of this position is to perform and provide counsel on expert emergency, maintenance, testing, and start-up technical support across FIRE ALARM systems and sub-systems from simple to complex in nature. Performs or provides counsel on diagnosing, repairing & commissioning equipment and systems.
Principal Responsibilities
1. Technical and Job related Responsibilities
§ Service, commissioning and maintenance of Honeywell and third party equipment (as per trade expertise).
§ Day to day servicing, calibrations and maintenance; including diagnoses and repairs faults.
§ Supervision of field installation.
§ Determine equipment and accessory needs for implementation and inform FSL or FSS in time.
§ Availability for and performance of duties outside of normal working hours as per agreed rosters and as directed.
§ Call out duties required.
2. Customer Satisfaction
§ Ensure customer satisfaction through direct liaison with client representatives, customers and service recipients.
§ Ensure delivery of value to our clients and customers.
3.Finance
§ Financial control according to previously agreed budgets and plans.
4. Estimate and Risk Reviews
§ Report possible future failures, disturbances and other opportunities for improvement.
§ Estimate materials costs and quantities provide the information to the FSL and Service Sales.
5.Quality, Measurement and Documentation
§ Development and maintenance of site-specific documentation and quality assurance information as instructed by team leader.
§ Follow the Honeywell SOPs, HSE and quality systems while delivering the periodic maintenance services as well as the execution of spot services and SLJs.
§ Achievement, measurement and reporting of performance indicators and site service objectives.
