Export Logistics analyst
Our client is one of the most prestigious brands and global players on the luxury market.
The company creates, manufactures, distributes and sells high-end jewels, watches, perfumes and accessories through a network of over 250 owned stores in the most exclusive shopping areas in the world and selected distributors and more than 10.000 exclusive perfumeries.
Within their Worldwide Logistic and Supply Chain Centre based in Dublin, Ireland, we are looking for a team player, motivated and detail oriented Export Logistics Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Work on strategic initiatives with our Freight partner to deliver efficiencies that maintain service level but improve costs.
- Ability to develop trend analysis using data analytics tools and accessing data from various sources / systems (Internal and External).
- Develop a suite of operational KPI's that help to identify both service and cost improvements
- Working with SAP to analyse process flows.
- Support testing and implementation of new processes.
- Support the Data champion with reporting
- Manage daily invoicing and supplementary shipping documents (Consular legalizations, CITES permits, Certs of origin etc.) to destinations worldwide
- Prepare and check that all export documentation meet the requested requirements needed per country and associated Inco-terms.
- Work directly with the transportation team to ensure lead-times are respected.
- Demonstrate urgency to resolve customer issues.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience in freight forwarding required
- SAP expertise essential
- At least 3 years' experience in an administrative role, preferably in export and customs
- Proficient in MS office knowledge particularly in Excel and exposure to data analytics tools.
- Must have analytic and quantitative skills
- Computer proficiency and knowledge of databases, statistics applications & spreadsheets
- Excellent presentation skills
- System driven and able to understand data
- Decision making and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently
- Fluent in English
- Business qualification an advantage
