Customer Service Manager, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15
An amazing Customer Service Manager (Customer Logistics) opportunity to join Dublin-based and well-established provider of freight, transport, and logistics services in Dublin 15.
Salary - €50k+

The role:
To ensure the Company complies fully with all Irish and UK Revenue and Customs requirements in the most efficient and timely manner. To provide management support to the Customs Team and the Depots throughout the TPN Network.

Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support

  • Day to day support for the Customs Customer Service team
  • Day to day support for the Irish depots, UK depots and the Hub
  • Continuous process confirmation, improvement, and development to include AEO compliance
  • Rigorous audit schedule to ensure full compliance with Revenue and Customs requirements
  • Compliance with Company ISO processes and procedures
  • Liaising with Revenue, Customs, DAFM and HSE authorities on queries raised
  • Management of outstanding clearances in a timely manner
  • Discharge of T1 documents
  • Ensuring the release procedure is monitored and the processes in place are followed in an efficient manner
  • Development of integrated financial management system / AEB (software for global logistic tracing)
  • Review and management of EIDR (Entry in Declarant's Records) entries ensuring full compliance


Team Support

  • Escalation points for Customs and/or customer queries
  • Training team members ensuring they reach the required standard
  • Ongoing support and development of the Customs Customer Service team
  • Weekly payroll TMS reporting
  • Leave cover management
  • Working with other departments to improve the customer experience


Reporting

  • Monthly reporting of the EIDR entries to the Customs Authorities
  • Writing off bonding manifest
  • Post clearance checks and reconciliations
  • Weekly reconciliation of customs charges to cash received for same from customers


Experience:

  • A demonstrable track record of achievement within the Customs environment
  • A strong knowledge of Customs requirements in particular TCA UK-EU
  • PC literacy, MS Outlook, Advanced Excel (Pivot table & VLOOKUP etc) and Word
  • Appropriate Customs qualification desirable but not essential
