Learning & Development Manager - Education/Professional Development Sector
Our client:
Our client, based in Drogheda, are a leading Education/Professional Development company and are looking to add to their team. They have an exciting opportunity for a L&D Manager to join them.
For over 10 years, our client has been improving both individual and business performance in Ireland and the UK.
They design engaging, effective training programs that have a profound and lasting impact on people and their careers, inspiring new ways of thinking, building critical capabilities and unleashing business success.
They are looking for an experienced Learning and Development Manager, who will be part of an HR Team responsible for organising training and designing the educational curriculum.
This role is fully onsite with no option for work from home or hybrid.

The Ideal Candidate:
If you have the following skills, you will be a great fit for the role, and we want to hear from you:
- Relevant experience as an L&D Manager, Training Director or similar role
- In-depth understanding of traditional and modern training methods (including e-learning)
- Project Management and Budget setting
- Experience organising training activities in a corporate environment
- Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- +1-year People management experience
- A Degree in Human Resources, Learning and Development, Psychology or relevant field is desirable
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design instructor-led and e-learning training programmes
- Work with national and international certification bodies to approve certified courses
- Oversee learning activities, curriculum and resources
- Work closely with our training advisors on the delivery of effective training programmes
- Evaluate the results of learning courses for our clients
- Implement coaching sessions and mentorship programs to establish a culture of continuous improvement
- Lead & manage internal trainers across the group to ensure a collaborative approach
- Recommend new training methods (including e-learning courses and game-based platforms)
