The Italian Cultural Institute in Dublin is an essential point of reference for the Italian Community and for the growing demand for the Italian Culture that is recorded all over the world.

IIC in Dublin promotes the image of Italy as a centre of production, conservation and cultural diffusion from the classical era to the present day

It organizes cultural events in different sectors (art, music, cinema, theatre, dance, fashion, design, photography, literature, publishing);

It offers the opportunity, to those who wish, to know the Italian language and culture, through the organization of courses, the management of libraries and the offer of educational and editorial material

We are looking for part-time teachers to provide lessons to our students who enrol each term. The following requirements are needed in order to apply for a teaching position at the IIC:

English:

• Italian native speaker
• Resident in Ireland or about to move to Ireland
• Humanities degree (arts, literature, languages, etc.) + M. Phil in Teaching Italian as a Foreign Language or similar specific qualification (DITALS, DILS, CEDILS, etc.) OR: Master Degree in Italian Language and Culture for Foreigners (e.g. LiCI cert. of the University for Foreigners of Perugia)
• At least 1 year experience in teaching Italian as a foreign language to groups of adults
• Please provide a CV in Italian

Italiano:

• Per poter insegnare italiano come lingua straniera presso L'Istituto Italiano di Cultura è richiesto il possesso dei seguenti requisiti:
• Essere di madrelingua italiana
• Possesso di Laurea in discipline umanistiche + Master in Didattica della Lingua Italiana L2 / LS o una certificazione DITALS, DILS, CEDILS etc. / OPPURE: Laurea Magistrale in Lingua e Cultura Italiane per Stranieri
• Essere già residenti in Irlanda o in procinto di trasferirsi
• Esperienza di almeno 1 anno nell'insegnamento dell'Italiano come LS/L2 - classi di adulti
• Si prega di allegare un CV in italiano
