HR Business Partner

The mission of this position is maximizing the effectiveness and efficiency of the workforce and ensuring that employees and leaders feel supported on HR matters (e.g. employee relations, talent, performance, organisation development/change, culture, diversity & inclusion, leadership and learning) and integrated in the culture of the company.

Working as part of a HR Team, the HR Business Partner will drive operational activities related to Human Resources Management whilst creating a positive and equitable working experience for their colleagues within the business.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide input too and support implementation of HR Strategy, ensuring the HR plans and deliverables are aligned with business culture in collaboration with the HR Manager.
  • Coaching and developing line managers supporting them to build their own skills and confidence to successfully lead their people.
  • Addressing and managing a wide range of employee relations matters, resolving them through a systematic approach ensuring adherence to company policies, employment law and best practice.
  • Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of country-specific legal requirements related to day-to-day HR matters and inputting and taking a lead role in developing and implementing updates polices & procedures.
  • Building and maintaining effective working relationships with key stakeholders within the business, corporate and also with external vendors/ benefit providers etc.
  • Support and act as advisor to the payroll specialist and be the escalation resource on monthly payroll cycle and employee payroll queries or concerns.
  • Provide payroll information on a timely manner to the payroll specialist where changes/ instructions area linked to their remit (i.e. organizational changes, promotions, salaries adjustments, etc.).
  • Requirement to have basic knowledge of Quality Compliance within the Pharmaceutical industry and participating in QRM and site Quality Management activities such as Deviations, CAPAs and Change Controls as necessary. Supporting the delivery of organisational change and acting as a champion for change in business, leading and supporting the delivery of both local and Corporate HR projects.
  • Responsible for implementing Learning and Development strategy including the development and roll out of management and leadership programs. Working with the HR Manager to and training compliance to meet the needs of key stakeholders.
  • Assisting the HR Manager with the smooth running of annual and ad hoc processes such as performance reviews, bonus, merit increases etc.
  • Point of contact and responsible for the recruitment strategy working with onsite RPO to facilitate an effective Recruitment and Onboarding process in line with best practice.
  • Ensuring an effective service level in terms of the core elements of the employee lifecycle and support associated record keeping and data accuracy requirements.
  • Producing reports for senior management and monthly meetings and using insights from the data and trends to effect change.
  • Actively supporting the HR Manager reviewing day to day process within the HR function, bringing change as required.
  • Support the introduction of Key Performance Indicators for the HR functions in line with the corporate strategy.

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field.
  • 3-4+ years' relevant experience
  • 2+ years Pharmaceutical or Medial Device Manufacturing Experience.
  • CIPD Qualified
