Senior Warehouse Operative
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Warehouse Operative, to work at our client's warehouse in Dublin 15.
Location: Ballycoolin Business Park
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: €30,000-€37,000
Our Client
Our client is a consumables, equipment and technical solutions supplier to customers operating in critically clean and controlled environments including Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Life Science, Semi-conductor, and Micro-Electronics.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Improving efficiency and identifying inefficiencies in the warehouse operations
- Checking, counting, and organizing incoming stock
- Picking and packing customer orders within agreed timelines
- Delivering items to points of use
- Keeping shelves stocked to optimal levels
- Conducting regular stock checks and cycle counting to maintain accurate inventory
- Utilizing a computerized stock control system
- Maintaining high warehouse standards
- Assisting with daily shift and management tasks
The ideal candidate will have:
- A forklift license and experience operating one
- A flexible, reliable, and hardworking attitude with a positive work ethic
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Previous experience using a stock control system such as SAP or similar
- Experience using WMS is desirable
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to take on additional duties as required
