Location: Royston
Salary: £12 - £17 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm
Job type: Temporary

Manpower are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client in Royston for a Production Assembly Technician to join their team on a temporary basis.

Focusing on productizing Science, the group supports customers around the world in taking scientific discoveries and inventions and developing them into commercially successful products.
What will your duties be?

Electro-Mechanical assembly of scientific instrumentationElectrical safety testing and pressure testingCarrying out factory acceptance tests during and after the assembly processTroubleshooting and diagnosing faults on products during the assembly processReporting issues to the Manufacturing Engineering team to ensure our products are continuously improvedReading and working form engineering drawings

Skills required:

Experience with working in a highly disciplined manufacturing environment, preferably assembling scientific instrumentsExcellent level of dexterityHigh levels of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to read and work from engineering drawings and locked-down work instructionsHighly motivated, enthusiastic and have a willingness to learnAbility to work individually and as part of a teamA working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systemsGood timekeeping and organisational skills
