International Trade & Logistics Intern

Internship involves working in the International Trade and Logistics department which includes tasks related to International Trade, Transport Warehousing and GDP compliance.

Duties

• Support International Trade & Logistics department with the formalities and reporting resulting from legal obligation of GWWO within area of international movement of goods in and out of Dublin site.
• Support the Compliance & Projects Manager in activities in connection with quality affairs such as monitoring, review and closing out of outstanding requirements related to GDP compliance.
• Support in monitoring and review of transport requirements, setting up new routes, carrying out risk assessments, validating routes and maintaining shared files with regard to transport information

This Internship will also provide an opportunity to develop and practice:

• Good people skills and effective communication techniques to effectively coordinate and collaborate internally across functions and departments.
• Ability to present information in organised manner allowing for easy comprehension of complex topics

Requirements

• Studying for a relevant qualification within International Trade, Logistics or Business
• Must be proactive, results oriented, and have strong attention to detail.
• Self-starter with strong work ethic and the ability to exercise good judgment.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet targeted deadlines.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make structured decisions on a routine basis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
• Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office (especially Power Point, Word & Excel).
