Night Dispatcher in Dublin

Our client is a leading logistics and transportation company providing reliable and efficient services to customers across Europe. We are currently seeking a Night Dispatcher to join the team and help manage the overnight operations.

As a Night Dispatcher, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods and providing exceptional customer service.

You will work closely with our drivers, warehouse personnel, and other staff members to ensure that all shipments are delivered on time and according to customer specifications.

SHIFT - Sunday - Thursday - 22.00 - 07.00

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage and dispatch drivers for all overnight deliveries.
• Monitor schedules to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
• Communicate with drivers, customers, and other team members to resolve any issues that may arise.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all shipments and deliveries.
• Collaborate with other departments and team members to achieve company goals.

Requirements

• At least 1 year as Transport Planner with an established transport/logistics provider with a proven ability to solve logistical issues to the customers satisfaction.
• Ability to work night shifts.
• Be able to work in a pressurised team environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
