An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the world's most successful, purpose-led businesses, our client, a leading global FMCG company with Brands such as Dove, Knorr, Persil and Magnum, as a Business Analyst based at their iconic Head Office in Blackfriars, London (will involve a mix of working from home and working from the office).

This is a full-time temporary role to last until the end of March 2024, to start ASAP.

Depending on experience, this role is paying between £35,200 - £39,600 per annum, pro rata.

We need to blend social data with consumer contact centre data with CRM data with search data with ratings & reviews data and so much more. This will allow incredible insights and precision marketing. The PDC Lab Special Projects Analyst is a key role responsible for answering important business questions for the most senior stakeholders across the business, as well as creating global meta-analyses and thought leadership pieces that deliver game changing insights to UL. This role ensures the PDC and UL stays at the cutting edge of our business, analytics and insight. Have a results-focused, analytical mind-set which is plugged in to the cutting edge of consumer insights and engagement, and able to turn concepts into reality? Key Accountabilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Project management and delivery of executive-level SBA (Social and Business Analytics)/insight projects (e.g. brand crises, corporate comms/identity, etc)
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis or support for executive-level requests of the PDC organisation
  • Work closely with specialists and subject matter experts to formulate and test hypotheses and turn data into actionable, engaging, stories
  • Ensure that learnings and recommendations are actionable and able to be landed and cascaded within the business

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Stay informed about priorities across the PDC organisation that could be addressed and solved with meta-analyses
  • Requirements gathering and workshop facilitation

Key Skills Required

Primary Traits

  • Experience with business analytics or market research, with a demonstrated ability to extract key insights from large sets of data
  • Experience creating impactful communications intended for senior-level audiences and a proven ability to influence at all levels of an organisation
  • Experience with social listening and NLP (Natural Language Processing) tools
  • Experience with uncovering insights from consumer goods data sets
  • Experience with search and other digital data
  • Demonstrable creativity and storytelling abilities
  • Consulting & storyboarding experience an asset
  • Confident public speaker/comfortable presenting work when requested

  • Diplomatic, transparent and persuasive
  • Experience driving business value from consumer insight
  • Passion for the social and digital world and its implications for business
  • Some experience with analytical or statistical tools
