Our client a well-established Irish company based in Galway is seeking a Customer support/ Sales Specialist to join their team.
Our client is one of the top industrial distribution companies in Europe, providing thousands of products to customers worldwide.

The role:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
• Handle customer orders and inquiries, and ensure they are processed efficiently through phone and email.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales by suggesting complementary or upgraded products that match customers' needs.
• Educate customers on the technical advantages of our products to help them make informed decisions.
• Collaborate with external sales colleagues to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Record and escalate customer issues or trends using appropriate communication channels.
• Keep abreast of product knowledge and updates to deliver accurate and reliable information to customers.
• Generate weekly and monthly reports using SAP to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a comparable role is required.
• Technical and/or production experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and capitalize on sales opportunities.
• Comfortable discussing the benefits and features of our products with customers.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and administrative skills.
• Openness to embrace new ideas and initiatives as they arise.
• Passionate about providing exceptional customer service.
