Daily Duties:

  • You will be running production machinery to achieve production schedules
  • Place packaging on the lines to keep up with automated machinery
  • Understanding of machine breakdowns to troubleshoot defects and working with other departments to make sure these are fixed correctly and on time
  • Working to 5s guidelines when starting a shift or a change over to carry out cleaning, inspections, defect checks, and troubleshooting of basic defects
  • Working on the company MRP system for stock checks and to make sure the production plans are on schedule, or mapping downtime to ensure there is a reason for lack of production

We are looking for experience with:

  • FMCG/Production / Pharma or Chemical background
  • Experience working on automated machinery
  • Background of troubleshooting machinery defects

As a Packing Operative, you will be working on a continental shift pattern, working on a 2,2,3 shift pattern working both days and nights.
