Manpower is working with a fantastic client based in York to find a Communications Administrator for a 6-month temporary role with an immediate start date.

The role is 37 hours per week and paying £13 per hour.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing professional customer service to new and existing clients via telephone, email and face to face when required
  • Daily management of personal inboxes, including processing of any client communications.
  • Write and edit online content for the client's intranet and staff social media channels to communicate key information and messages as well as supporting services in creating and publishing their own digital content, where appropriate.
  • Using financial planning software to create, record and update client records and ensuring these are kept up to date including GDPR
  • Communicating and liaising effectively with external product providers as and when required, to obtain policy specific information
  • Company website updates, assisting with the content and ensuring this is fit for purpose
  • Manage marketing strategies and campaigns for existing and prospective clients
  • Assist with event planning and communication projects
  • Manage smaller pieces of work to completion, either standalone or as a part of larger project to support achievement of business objectives
  • Other administrative tasks for the various departments and the wider team as required

Person specification:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, producing reports and documentation to a professional standard with an ability to communicate complex issues in a simplified way.
  • Advanced presentation skills - communicating complex issues effectively to a wide range of audiences
  • An understanding of communications techniques
  • An excellent understanding of social media and how to maximise its usage.
  • Able to prioritise a busy workload
