Job Description: As the Deputy Logistics Manager, you will collaborate with a talented team of logistics professionals and work closely with the Regional Logistics Manager to oversee the entire logistics function. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supply Chain Optimization: Identify opportunities for streamlining supply chain processes, reducing costs, and enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Inventory Management: Implement strategies to maintain optimum inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and ensure timely replenishment.
  • Transportation and Distribution: Oversee the transportation network, including inbound and outbound logistics, and manage relationships with carriers and freight forwarders.
  • Warehouse Management: Ensure effective utilization of warehouse space, monitor inventory accuracy, and implement best practices for order fulfilment and inventory control.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate logistics processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement innovative solutions to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to drive high performance and foster a positive work culture.
