The role

As an Application Support Analyst, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will be a member of a team of analysts responsible for the support of Land applications and technology.

Day to day, you'll be responsible for applying and maintaining process and procedures to ensure document configuration management, modification management, build management, version controls, and gate review documentation remain appropriate and adhered to.

* Management of the controlled transition of applications into the production environment. Ensure all changes are tested, documented and version controlled
* Working with IT function for the creation and management of the Application Development environments and libraries
* Support the management and delivery of applications and configuration of the relevant installations to ensure continuous, stable service operation by internal and external customers.
* Conduct Release Management role for the promotion of application development code and configuration versions between Test, Pre-Production and Production environments


Essential experience of the Application Support Analyst

* Good working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server in high-availability configuration.
* Proven experience providing a Release Management role promoting code/releases between and managing Development, test UAT and production environments
* Ability to deal with and manage conflict whilst building successful business relationships across a range of technical and business stakeholder groups
* Managing the resolution queue of IT software application issues and problems through a Service Desk platform

This is a fully remote working role with ad-hoc on-site visits and training to our Bristol office.


The successful candidate must be able to achieve BPSS/SC (must be British Nationals) security clearance level for this role.
