Packaging Shift Lead

To support The Packaging Supervisor relating to facilitating the smooth running of departmental activities.

 

What your responsibilities will be:

  • Perform PBR Reviews of production batch records to ensure compliance of the associated batch
  • Drafting & Submitting for approval of controlled notification, protocols and other documents
  • Ensure the packaging lines are performing as expected, coordinating between batches to reduce change over, setup times, ensure next batch is ready on time and when incidents happening ensure the downtime is kept to a minimum
  • Support the gathering of information when an incident happens to ensure accurate information is passed to the relevant department
  • Introduce data into Time & attendance system for absence, approving holidays and absence requests
  • Ensure back to work interviews are performed for the team members
  • Support with 1:1s with the team
  • Supporting the Supervisor with performance management of the team (GPS, Attendance)
  • When the Packaging Supervisor is absent this role will take full responsibility of the Packaging operations
  • Other duties as required for business needs

  • Minimum 2 years Packaging in a pharmaceutical environment with experience at no less than team leader level
  • Previous experience in having a team of direct reports
  • Excellent communication & writing skills
  • Competent in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Good organizational skills
  • Flexibility
  • Results orientated
  • SAP Experience an advantage
  • Lean Manufacturing experience
  • Relevant further education
