Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Warehouse Operative, to work at our client's warehouse in Dublin 15.

Location: Ballycoolin Business Park
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, Monday-Friday
Salary: €15-€17 p/h

Our Client

Our client is a consumables, equipment and technical solutions supplier to customers operating in critically clean and controlled environments including Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Life Science, Semi-conductor, and Micro-Electronics.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Improving efficiency and identifying inefficiencies in the warehouse operations
• Checking, counting, and organizing incoming stock
• Picking and packing customer orders within agreed timelines
• Delivering items to points of use
• Keeping shelves stocked to optimal levels
• Conducting regular stock checks and cycle counting to maintain accurate inventory
• Utilizing a computerized stock control system
• Maintaining high warehouse standards
• Assisting with daily shift and management tasks

The ideal candidate will have:

• A forklift license and experience operating one
• A flexible, reliable, and hardworking attitude with a positive work ethic
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail
• Previous experience using a stock control system such as SAP or similar
• Experience using WMS is desirable
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to take on additional duties as required
