Job Description:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our construction projects meet the highest quality standards. You will play a critical role in assessing the quality of materials, workmanship, and construction processes, and ensuring compliance with specifications, regulations, and industry best practices. Your attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will contribute to our overall success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough and comprehensive quality surveys of homes where grant works are scheduled to take place.
- Monitor progress, document and report on findings, including the preparation of inspection reports, photographs, and other supporting documentation.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and resolution of quality issues.
- Monitor and review the implementation of corrective and preventive actions to address quality concerns.
- Liaising with contractors and homeowners to ensure smooth project delivery.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong planning and organizing skills with a focus on meeting project deadlines.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Results-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards.
- Demonstrates decisiveness and good judgement, with effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent small-scale projects.
- Possess proficient IT application skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Must possess a full driving license.
