Specification and Technical Area Sales Engineer

Our client, a heating & plumbing company based in North Dublin are looking for an experienced Mechanical or Building Services Engineer with a passion for sales & specifications to join their growing team.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Do you have 3 years'+ experience as a Technical Salesperson?
• Do you have a background in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services?
• Are you experienced in specifications?
• A Degree in a construction or engineering field is essential
• CAD is extremely desirable
• Full driving license is required

The role:

• Develop opportunities at an early stage in the design process to secure product specifications.
• Engage with Contractors to provide technical design support and advice.
• Liaise with the Sales Director and Sales Office team to generate quotations, BoQs, and provide clients with relevant documentation- product specifications, etc.
• Consult with Purchasing Departments regarding stock requirements, product development, and lead times to manage customer expectations.
• Have to ability to generate and deliver presentations to current and potential customers.
• Represent the Company at any industry Trade Shows and marketing events when needed.
