Junior Lab & Quality Engineer
Our client, a heating & plumbing company based in North Dublin are looking for a Lab & Quality Engineer to join and progress within their growing team. This role is suitable for a graduate or post-grads with 1-2 years' experience.

The Ideal Candidate:
If you have the following skills, you will be a great fit for the role, and we want to hear from you:

  • Degree Qualification in Mechanical or Process Engineering
  • Understanding and experience working to ISO standards is essential
  • Working knowledge of Solidworks, CAD is extremely desirable
  • Candidate should have experience with GMP
  • A friendly, collaborative personality is a must

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work on new and developing products
  • Assist in the design, development and testing of products to the set-out standards:
  • Carry out thorough testing and reporting on sample products and prototypes
  • Generate and review detailed testing reports
  • Applying CAPA (Corrective and Preventative Action), perform testing on established products reported to be non-conforming
  • Risk analysis, process and procedures
  • Ensuring up-to-date calibration & maintenance of laboratory testing equipment
  • Work with Quality manager to maintain quality certification on existing products and to maintain and improve internal ISO 9001 QC procedures
  • Produce and sign off on detailed product drawings and material lists
