Science & Innovation Technologist

Our client, a global Food supplier and producer are looking for an experienced S&I Technologist to join their team in Kildare.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Do you have a degree in Food Science or a related field?
  • Do you have a mathematical mind, with experience in reporting, record keeping and equations?
  • Have you got a track record of working in a production environment?
  • GMP & Food Safety knowledge & understanding is required
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills are essential

The role:

  • Carry out trials in addition to designing new or improved methodologies and procedures to conduct validations and experimental testing.
  • Work with Project Managers on trial design, timelines, potential hurdles, and trials improvement to achieve technical advances at every trial.
  • Advanced data interpretation and reporting.
  • Present prototype information to stakeholders.
  • Evaluate new ingredients, materials, products, or processes contributing to S&I capability building.
  • Work with cross-functional departments to drive the execution of collaborative project tasks.
  • Advise and guide other team members and other departments on scientific/technical matters, as necessary.
  • Maintain safe working environment by practicing and coaching in established safety procedures.
