Our client is a leading business-to-business supplier of customized protein and nutrition solutions to the food sector. Currently they are looking for a Food Safety Quality Assurance Supervisor to join their team of talented professionals.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a Scientific Food Discipline desirable but not essential
  • Hands-on experience in driving compliance, quality, and food safety in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and quality standards such as BRC, Regulatory, and Retailer Standards.
  • Experience working with customers, suppliers, regulatory bodies, and audits is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Verify production and system checks to ensure product and food safety specifications are met.
  • Conduct quality checks including raw material checks, CCP verification, and traceability checks.
  • Highlight hazards and prevent risks to product safety.
  • Collaborate with various departments to set standards, solve problems, and take corrective actions.
  • Conduct hygiene inspection audits, GMP audits, and environmental monitoring.
  • Provide training for production teams and other staff on SOPs, Hygiene, Technical Policies, and Procedures.
  • Collect and log product samples for testing, review results, and ensure compliance.
  • Produce quality performance reports and other required reports.
  • Maintain high standards in procedures, reports, and documentation control.
