Finance Business Partner
Location: Dublin City Centre
Division: Finance
Reporting To: CFO

Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing watch, jewellery, and silversmith company. They are seeking a highly motivated Finance Business Partner to join its team. Reporting to the CFO, the selected candidate will play a crucial role in driving informed decision-making across the organisation. Responsibilities include monthly reporting close, assisting with year-end audits, and leading the implementation of SAP Business One

Key Responsibilities:

Monthly Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and analyse various financial reports, such as sales, brand performance, costs, stocks, and cash flow statements.
  • Detect trends, variances, and improvement opportunities to facilitate strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Year End Audit Support:

  • Aid the CFO in assembling year-end accounts.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, furnishing essential documentation and assistance during audits.
  • Review financial statements and assist in addressing any audit discoveries or inconsistencies.

ERP Implementation Leadership:

  • Lead the implementation of SAP Business One, covering project planning, data transition, user education, and post-implementation support.
  • Work closely with IT and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and alignment with business workflows.

Business Partnership:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business units, offering financial insights and recommendations for decision-making.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to formulate financial forecasts, budgets, and performance benchmarks.
  • Identify avenues for enhancing processes and streamlining efficiency within the finance domain.
  • Aid HR in payroll processing.

Financial Analysis:

  • Manage extensive datasets encompassing all business segments.
  • Summarize and present key findings from financial analyses.

What the ideal Candidate must have:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA),or a Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field with at least 5 years' industry experience
  • Experience with ERP systems implementation, preferably SAP Business One
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and change management initiatives.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, coupled with adeptness in collaborating effectively with stakeholders across various levels.
