Area Sales Manager

Our client, a leading supplier of cables and cable accessories in Ireland and the UK, is looking for an experienced, self-motivated, and highly driven Area Sales Manager to join their dynamic sales team.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing a portfolio of existing clients within the Electrical Contractor/ Wholesale sector, while developing opportunities for business with new prospects within industry.

Based in Dublin 11, this role covers the East & North of Ireland, with one day per week in office.

The Ideal Candidate

If you have the following skills, you will be a great fit for the role, and we want to hear from you:

• 3+ years' experience in an Area Sales Manager role or similar
• Previous experience in Cable/ Electrical industry preferred, not essential.
• Strong client relationship management experience in Electrical Wholesale sector or similar.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Confident & outgoing with excellent communication skills.
• Full, clean driving licence required.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of existing client accounts while developing new business relationships.
• Maximising business opportunities by upselling & cross-selling to existing customers
• Handling incoming sales enquiries effectively & efficiently.
• Keeping up to date with territory trends/ opportunities to find new prospects.
• Delivering excellent customer service at all times.
• Coordinate with other departments in relation to ongoing and future projects.
