Sales Manager
Our client - Irelands largest hotel group are seeking an experienced Sales manager to join their growing Sales team in a 4 star luxury hotel in Sligo.
The Sales Manager role is highly interactive and operates in a fast-paced environment. This key position within a dynamic sales team demands strong administrative abilities coupled with excellent communication skills. The role offers a prominent position within the corporate landscape, managing an essential market segment within the hotel's business mix.

The ideal candidate:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector.
- Proactive sales experience is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in spoken and written English.
- Must have access to a car for work and hold a full Driver's Licence.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee key corporate accounts, maximizing their potential.
- Handle transient accounts by negotiating rates and confirming contracts to meet budget targets.
- Prospect New Business: Actively seek out and convert new accounts.
- RFP Management: Manage the annual RFP process, using market insights and pricing strategies to enhance hotel profitability.
- Analyze Reports: Use monthly reports to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Monitor Competitors: Keep track of competitors' performance, rates, and activities.
- Keep the CRM system Alkimi up to date and use it to track potential business.
- Utilize various business intelligence tools to attract and secure hotel business.
- Develop and implement plans for top corporate accounts, including pricing and sales activities.
- Organize hotel site visits and entertain clients.
- Handle group and event enquiries, ensuring smooth transition to the Events Team.
- Travel: Regular travel is required.
