Export Logistics Coordinator - Dublin 17

Our client, a leading Irish logistics provider, is seeking an experienced and proactive Export Logistics Coordinator to join their dynamic team in Dublin. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering a seamless and efficient airfreight export service, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, with a focus on end-to-end shipment management, you will play a key role in ensuring that the customers' goods are delivered on time and at the best possible rate.

Location: Dublin 17

Work Schedule: 9am - 5.30pm (Mon - Fri)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end processing of shipment bookings, ensuring all details are accurately captured and managed.
  • Monitor and track shipments from customer booking to final delivery, maintaining communication with all stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely invoicing, manage sales and purchase invoices, and resolve any related queries efficiently.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Consult with airlines to secure competitive rates and optimal transit times.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and transport teams to ensure smooth collection, labelling, and processing of shipments.
  • Handle rate requests, prepare and issue quotations, and actively participate in the development and enhancement of the airfreight service offering.
  • Collaborate with our global network of agents to ensure consistent service delivery across all markets.
  • Assist with coverage during team absences and provide administrative support to the airfreight department as needed.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 12-18 months of experience in airfreight export operations or a related field.
  • Proficient in MS Office and freight management systems. (CargoWise would be a distinct advantage but not essential)
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English, with strong communication skills.
