Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly payroll submissions and manage benefits administration, including weekly and monthly payroll cycles.
- Oversee recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new employees, ensuring a smooth induction process.
- Manage off-boarding processes and ensure proper handling of employee exits.
- Provide expert support to employees and managers on HR and payroll-related queries.
- Manage and implement a new time and attendance system.
- Prepare HR metrics and reports for management.
- Regularly update the employee handbook to reflect the latest company policies and procedures.
- Ensure HR record-keeping is maintained to a high standard.
- Administer HR policies and make recommendations for improvements.
- Assist with employee relations issues, including handling disciplinary procedures.
- Offer HR advice on all people-related matters, ensuring guidance aligns with employment law and company policy.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a busy HR function.
- Payroll experience is required; experience with hourly rates is advantageous.
- A HR degree or relevant qualification is required.
- Strong knowledge of Irish Employment Law.
- Advanced Excel skills are essential.
- Excellent communication and administration skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team player.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in a fast-paced work environment.
