Job Title: C# Developer

Client Overview
Our client is a major financial agency of the United Nations, and an international financial institution funded by 191 member countries, with headquarters in Washington, D.C
Qualifications:
Years of experience overall in IT 2 to 5 years. Can be straight out of master's program with a relevant internship.
Must have exceptional interpersonal skills.
Must have superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must be willing and able to learn independently as well as in a group setting.
Technical Skills:
Looking for someone who has a robust understanding of programming languages C# and .NET (.NET is preferred, not a real must), as they will be working on data repository application integrating with data retrieve from their financial data platform.
The ideal candidate should be able to work independently under pressure and possess exceptional communication skills.
While familiarity with macroeconomic data is a plus, it is not a requirement for this role.
Candidates MUST have a bachelor's degree to be considered, preferably in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Economics. A master's degree is a plus.
Comprehensive knowledge of the use of personal computer operating systems and utilities in an enterprise network environment.
Basic Python scripting skills.
Nice to Have's:
Additionally, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is preferred.
Pivot Tables o Excel Functions
Experience with VLOOKUP and HLOOKUP
Charts: Create/Modify
Excel Macros o VBA Programming
Basic programming skills in VB, VB.NET and scripting languages
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of application code using C#.
Develop code to integrate and retrieve data from financial data platform.
Maintain documentation of code, processes, and workflows.
Work directly with staff members throughout the client site in the retrieval and manipulation of economic data (i.e. developing macros/add-ins to streamline economic research/analysis)
