About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our client's team on a contract basis in Ireland. In this role, you will support the delivery of digital power and green energy projects, contributing to solution design, customer engagement, and on-site project execution.
The successful candidate will work closely with customers, project teams, and subcontractors to develop competitive and cost-effective electrical solutions, ensure compliance with Irish electrical standards, and support project rollout activities. This role requires a hands-on professional who is comfortable working both in technical design and on-site environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support high-level and low-level electrical solution design for digital power and green energy projects
- Ensure solutions comply with Irish electrical regulations and health & safety standards
- Engage with customers to present technical solutions and align on project scope
- Conduct technical workshops and solution clarification sessions
- Develop installation guidelines, site handbooks, and quality acceptance standards
- Provide on-site technical support during installation and rollout phases
- Conduct quality audits to ensure subcontractors follow design and quality requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5+ years of on-site electrical engineering experience
- Certified Electrical Engineer with knowledge of Irish electrical construction standards
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and electrical theory
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and tools such as Google Earth
- Professional attitude with the ability to work effectively in multicultural environments
