An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and enthusiastic Events Co-ordinator to join the team at a prestigious 4-star estate in Monaghan. This is a pivotal role, ideal for a highly organised, detail-driven professional with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences in a luxury hospitality setting.

The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a similar role within a 4 or 5-star hotel
- Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
- Professional, confident, and welcoming, with a guest-first attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Opera/Hotsoft or similar hotel systems
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the wider team.
- Flexible, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for all wedding and event enquiries (phone, email, or walk-ins)
- Conduct property showarounds and consultations with prospective clients and couples.
- Manage all event bookings from initial enquiry through to successful delivery.
- Prepare and distribute detailed function sheets for all relevant departments.
- Ensure smooth communication and handovers to the operations team.
- Work towards and exceed wedding and event sales targets.
- Represent the hotel with professionalism and warmth throughout the client journey.
- Conduct post-event follow-ups to gather feedback and ensure client satisfaction.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of event facilities, packages, and pricing.
- Attend management meetings and contribute to the overall success of the events department.
