Fleet Manager - Dublin 12

On behalf of our client, a leading provider of roadside assistance and motoring services in Ireland, we are seeking an experienced and hands-on Fleet Manager to join their Technical Services, Fleet & Supply Chain Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and highly organised professional to play a key role in managing a national vehicle fleet that supports critical frontline services. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Technical Services, Fleet & Supply Chain and will help shape operational efficiency through proactive fleet management and continuous improvement.

  • Monday - Friday

(Hybrid option available once probation is passed)

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' recent experience in a transport management or supervisory role.
  • In-depth knowledge of the transport or vehicle servicing industry.
  • Technical knowledge of cars and vans is a strong advantage.
  • Full B Driving Licence (required).

Duties:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of the company's vehicle fleet, including procurement, servicing, and disposal.
  • Coordinate scheduled maintenance and inspections to ensure vehicle safety, reliability, and compliance.
  • Ensure all vehicles maintain valid licensing, registration, insurance, and documentation.
  • Respond quickly to urgent repair needs to minimise downtime or service disruption.
  • Monitor and control fleet-related costs, working to maximise efficiency and performance.
  • Liaise with external service providers and suppliers to ensure high-quality service and value.
  • Maintain accurate records of fleet activities and ensure systems are updated in real-time.
  • Analyse vehicle performance and usage data to support decision-making and fleet strategy.
  • Support environmental and sustainability initiatives related to the company's vehicle operations.
  • Collaborate closely with other internal departments, including frontline and operations teams.
