Salary: Up to 45K DOE + Bonus
A busy builder's merchant in Cork is looking for a proactive and organised Heavy Building Material Supervisor to take ownership of stock management, supplier relations, and customer service within the HBM department. This is a key role supporting day-to-day operations and ensuring the smooth coordination of materials and sales activities.

The Ideal Candidate:

• 3-5 year's experience in building materials or construction supply
• Strong knowledge of stock control, ordering, and supplier coordination
• Excellent communication skills across phone, email, and in-person
• Comfortable working with quotes, sales orders, and basic account management
• IT savvy, especially with Excel and account/sales systems
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee HBM stock levels, purchasing, and supplier communications
• Coordinate delivery logistics and resolve stock discrepancies
• Handle customer inquiries, quotations, and order processing
• Support internal sales teams and liaise with reps on account activity
• Manage a small customer ledger and assist with account queries
• Maintain accurate administrative and financial records
