HR Generalist / People Partner
Location: Longford- Manufacturing
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent


Are you an experienced HR professional who enjoys being close to the people, driving performance, and supporting frontline operations? We're recruiting for a People Partner / HR Generalist to support a busy manufacturing site in Longford.
This is a hands-on HR role offering the chance to work closely with line managers and employees across all levels, with a focus on employee relations, attendance tracking, training coordination, policy support, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to supervisors and managers on employee relations, disciplinary procedures, and performance coaching.
  • Provide front-line HR support for hourly and salaried staff across the site.
  • Coordinate and track attendance, manage employee files, and assist with evaluations and leave management.
  • Collaborate on employee development and training programs.
  • Monitor compliance with employment law and internal HR policies, escalating where appropriate.
  • Take the lead on employee queries, workplace issues, and grievance handling.
  • Support internal communications, plant events, recognition initiatives, and service award programs.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in HR processes, tools, and communication.

What We're Looking For:

  • 2+ years' experience in a Human Resources Generalist or People Partner role.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish employment law, ideally within a manufacturing or shift-based work environment.
  • Experience advising operational or line managers on HR matters.
  • Comfortable with employee records, attendance systems, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - able to build rapport across functions.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
