HR Officer / HR Administrator
Dublin 12
Full Time | Monday-Friday | 40 Hours
A well-established Irish company in the builders' merchant and home improvement sector is seeking a HR Officer to join its team.
This role will support the day-to-day HR function including HR administration, onboarding, recruitment support, employee records, and time & attendance management while ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage new starter onboarding and HR system set up
- Maintain time & attendance records and support payroll reporting
- Track absence records including sick leave and leavers
- Maintain employee files, HR databases, and training records
- Support recruitment activities including posting job advertisements
- Prepare employee correspondence and HR documentation
- Liaise with Branch Managers, Payroll and Health & Safety teams
- Ensure HR processes comply with employment legislation
Requirements
- Previous experience in a HR or HR Administration role
- Strong communication, organisational and administrative skills
- High level of attention to detail and data accuracy
- Knowledge of Irish employment legislation desirable
- HR qualification or relevant degree an advantage
