HR Officer / HR Administrator
Dublin 12
Full Time | Monday-Friday | 40 Hours
A well-established Irish company in the builders' merchant and home improvement sector is seeking a HR Officer to join its team.
This role will support the day-to-day HR function including HR administration, onboarding, recruitment support, employee records, and time & attendance management while ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage new starter onboarding and HR system set up
  • Maintain time & attendance records and support payroll reporting
  • Track absence records including sick leave and leavers
  • Maintain employee files, HR databases, and training records
  • Support recruitment activities including posting job advertisements
  • Prepare employee correspondence and HR documentation
  • Liaise with Branch Managers, Payroll and Health & Safety teams
  • Ensure HR processes comply with employment legislation

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a HR or HR Administration role
  • Strong communication, organisational and administrative skills
  • High level of attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Knowledge of Irish employment legislation desirable
  • HR qualification or relevant degree an advantage
