Material Handler Night Shift

ManpowerGroup are recruiting for exciting roles within the growing electronic manufacturing industry in Ireland based in Northwest Logistics Park, Ballycoolin, Dublin 15
Initially a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.

Our client is an innovative electronic manufacturing business. Their team is rapidly growing, with a mixture of career developmental opportunities, and internal conversions for the right candidates. Our client manufactures electronic servers for one of the largest and best-known global brands.

The Material Handler in the MRB (Material Review Board) area will support material management processes by tracking, controlling, and processing materials identified for review. This role requires experience with SAP, computer skills, inventory control, and preferably working knowledge of MRB processes. The individual will manage and verify the movement, organization, and documentation of MRB materials, ensuring that transactions are executed accurately and efficiently to support the needs of production, engineering, and quality teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Track MRB Materials: Systematically track the location and movement of MRB materials within the designated MRB area, ensuring all materials are accounted for.
  • Coordinate Disposition of Materials: Work closely with Workcell, Project Management, and Materials departments to coordinate the disposition of MRB materials.
  • SAP Transactions: Utilize SAP and other ERP systems to execute material movements and inventory transactions, ensuring accurate system updates for MRB materials.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain inventory accuracy for all MRB materials, ensuring proper storage, identification, and segregation of items under review.
  • MRB Documentation: Process and maintain MRB forms, including traveler documentation, disposition records, and other required paperwork.
  • Material Verification: Ensure materials are accurately tracked and verified through system transactions, including physical count and reconciliation.
  • Organize and Clean MRB Area: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe MRB area, ensuring proper labeling, storage, and handling of materials.
  • Adhere to Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety, health, and security regulations as well as company policies related to material handling, MRB processes, and general warehouse functions.
  • Support Team Communication: Regularly communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely disposition and processing of MRB materials.
  • Perform Other Duties: Assist with other material-related functions or projects as assigned by the supervisor.


Job Knowledge Requirements

  • SAP and ERP Systems: Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems for tracking materials, executing transactions, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Material Handling: Knowledge of material handling procedures, including safely moving materials and ensuring proper documentation.
  • Inventory Control: Strong experience with inventory management practices, especially in the MRB environment.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze MRB traveler information and ensure accurate disposition of materials.
  • Computer Skills: Advanced computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office and the ability to operate within a Windows-based operating system.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with team members, managers, and other departments, including handling customer inquiries as necessary.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to define issues, gather data, and analyze information to resolve material-related problems.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic mathematical operations, including calculating percentages, rates, and ratios.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Previous experience in inventory control or materials management, preferably in an MRB environment
  • Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
