Night Manager – Monaghan

We’re currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Night Manager to join the team at a prestigious 4-star estate in Monaghan. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for a hospitality professional with a calm, confident presence and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service throughout the night.

The ideal candidate:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a 4- or 5-star hotel environment

  • Strong knowledge of night audit procedures and front office systems

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills

  • Calm under pressure with a proactive, guest-first approach

  • A strong focus on safety, security, and guest satisfaction

  • Ability to supervise and motivate a small overnight team

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the smooth and secure operation of the property during night hours

  • Deliver exceptional guest service and handle all late-night queries or requests

  • Carry out nightly audits and prepare required reports

  • Ensure safety and security procedures are upheld for guests, staff, and property

  • Support and supervise the night team to maintain high standards

  • Liaise with day management to ensure smooth handover and continuity

  • Monitor guest feedback and handle any issues with professionalism and care

  • Report all maintenance issues using Snapfix and ensure handover to Duty Manager

  • Adhere to all fire, health & safety procedures, and escalate any risks appropriately

  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required

Presentation & Conduct:

  • Maintain a high level of personal grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards

  • Represent the hotel in a professional and welcoming manner at all times
