Operations Manager - Retail & Supply Chain
Location: North Dublin onsite


The Role
We're seeking a hands-on, commercially driven Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations across a busy warehouse, retail, and distribution environment. You'll be pivotal in streamlining supply chain functions, managing stock flow, driving performance across teams, and enabling sales targets through operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead procurement processes: supplier selection, price negotiation, and vendor performance.
  • Forecast demand, manage stock levels, and reduce overstock or shortages.
  • Build, coach and develop teams across warehouse, retail, and delivery functions.
  • Implement KPIs and performance metrics linked to output, cost, and service quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement and cost-efficiency across operations.
  • Maintain financial control and manage operational budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, and operational policies.
  • Respond to market trends and competitor activity to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, finance, and store management.

Candidate Profile

  • 2+ years in an operation, supply chain, or store management leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory and warehouse processes.
  • Background in DIY, building materials, trade retail, or construction is a big advantage.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and excel for reporting and forecasting.
  • Able to lead, coach and motivate teams under pressure.
  • Confident negotiator with commercial acumen.
  • Organised, hands-on, and comfortable in a dynamic, growing business.
