We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to lead and oversee operational activities B2B distribution environment. This is a key leadership role, responsible for managing warehouse, transport, and merchandising functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, high service levels, and continuous process improvement.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
Overseeing warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, stock control, and order fulfilment.
Managing transport and distribution, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery to customers.
Supervising merchandising and product handling, maintaining quality and presentation standards.
Developing and implementing operational strategies to improve efficiency, service levels, and profitability.
Managing budgets, controlling costs, and contributing to organisational planning.
Recruiting, training, and leading operational teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations, transport legislation, and industry standards.
Identifying operational challenges and implementing practical solutions to drive continuous improvement.
About You:
Proven experience as an operations Manager or senior operations leader in logistics, distribution, or warehouse operations.
Strong knowledge of warehouse management, transport logistics, stock control, and operational planning.
Experience managing teams across multiple functions and implementing operational improvements.
Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong understanding of health & safety, compliance, and industry regulations.
Confident decision-maker with a hands-on approach in operational environments.
