Operations Manager - Dublin 12

Our client, a leading provider of roadside assistance services in Ireland, is seeking an experienced and driven Operations Manager to lead their Patrol Team based in Dublin. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a strong operational background, capable of driving performance, managing frontline teams, and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic organisation undergoing significant growth and transformation

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday

(Hybrid option available once probation is passed)

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Background in the motor or roadside recovery industry preferred.

  • Previous experience as a foreman or in leading a team of technicians is a plus.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisor or management role within a fast-paced environment.

  • Qualified LCV mechanic (FETAC Level 6) is advantageous but not required.

  • B Driving Licence (required).

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

Duties:

  • Lead and manage patrol teams and team leads to ensure productivity and service delivery.

  • Monitor and achieve key operational KPIs through:

  • Effective rostering

  • Absence and annual leave management

  • Headcount and resource planning

  • Translate strategy and change initiatives into executable operational plans.

  • Drive performance through accurate demand forecasting and capacity planning.

  • Oversee or contribute to projects that improve existing operational processes.

  • Foster engagement and morale through team communications and social initiatives.

  • Collaborate with HR to ensure smooth payroll processes and resolve any pay-related issues.

  • Communicate and coordinate with other road operations managers to align day-to-day activities.
