Partner Recruitment & Qualification Manager
ManpowerGroup Ireland have an exciting new opportunity with our client SAP! This is a 12-month contract role employed with ManpowerGroup Ireland with a possibility of extension. This position is a Hybrid/remote role based in Galway.

Role Purpose
The Partner Recruitment & Qualification Manager is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and onboarding technology partners under the SAP Build Partnership model.
This role is not an HR function. It sits within SAP's Partner Ecosystem organization and focuses on B2B technical partnerships, working with software companies, ISVs, and solution providers that build, integrate, or extend solutions on SAP technology.
The objective is to recruit the right Build partners, ensure they meet SAP's technical and commercial criteria, and guide them through the end-to-end Build partnership qualification and contracting journey.
Key Responsibilities
Partner Recruitment (Build Model)
- Proactively identify and recruit high-potential Build partners (ISVs, software vendors, platform and solution providers).
- Drive inbound and outbound partner recruitment aligned with SAP's Build ecosystem strategy.
- Engage senior stakeholders at partner companies (technical founders, CTOs, product leaders, alliance leads).
Partner Qualification & Readiness
- Lead partners through the Build Partner qualification process, including:
- Business model and value proposition assessment
- Technical architecture and integration fit with SAP
- Commercial readiness and scalability
- Run Application Readiness Checks (ARC) and ensure partners meet SAP Build criteria.
- Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders (Architecture, Legal, Compliance, Store, ICC where applicable).
Technical & Ecosystem Alignment
- Act as a trusted advisor to partners on SAP's Build ecosystem, platforms, and toolsets.
- Ensure partners understand:
- SAP Build partnership requirements
- Certification and validation paths (when applicable)
- SAP Store publishing journey
- Work closely with SAP technical teams to validate solution fit.
Process Ownership & Governance
- Own the end-to-end Build partner recruitment lifecycle, from first contact to agreement signature.
- Maintain accurate partner status and documentation in SAP systems.
- Ensure partners move efficiently through due diligence and contracting stages.
Collaboration & Handover
- Collaborate with Partner Incubation, Partner Management, and regional teams to ensure a smooth transition post-onboarding.
- Ensure newly recruited Build partners are positioned for activation and early success.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in B2B partnerships, alliances, or ecosystem roles
- Strong understanding of software, SaaS, cloud, or platform-based business models
- Ability to assess technical solutions at a high level (architecture, integrations, APIs)
- Experience working with ISVs or technology partners
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Structured, process-driven, comfortable working with governance and qualification frameworks
Preferred
- Experience with SAP, ERP, cloud platforms, or enterprise software ecosystems
- Knowledge of Build / ISV partnership models
- Familiarity with certification, validation, or marketplace ecosystem
- Experience working in a global, matrix organization
