Project Manager -Finance Integration
ManpowerGroup Ireland have an exciting new opportunity with our client SAP! This is a 12-month contract role with the possibility of extension employed with ManpowerGroup Ireland.
This position is a Hybrid role based in Dublin
Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a SAP finance process automation between SAP and an external third-party fund management platform. This role combines strategic project leadership with hands-on coordination of complex financial workflows in a regulated environment. The successful candidate will ensure seamless data integration, maintain compliance standards, and drive successful go-live and post-launch operations.
Key Responsibilities :
Project Leadership & Delivery
Own end-to-end delivery of the SAP-to-third-party platform finance integration project
Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource requirements
Track plans, risks, milestones, and dependencies; escalate issues proactively
Coordinate cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, Operations, Audit) toward delivery goals
Manage stakeholder expectations through regular, clear communication with Program Leads and senior leadership
Integration & Financial Controls
Ensure automation delivers accurate data flow across financial reporting, accruals, revenue recognition, payments, settlements, and reconciliations
Validate integration architecture meets compliance, audit, and financial control requirements
Support automation of payment process
Coordinate testing and validation of automation and financial data accuracy pre-launch
Go-Live & Post-Launch Operations
Plan and coordinate go-live activities, including cutover strategies and contingency planning
Monitor system performance and data integrity post-launch
Identify and resolve integration issues in production environment
Support operational handoff to support teams
Infrastructure & Operational Support :
Provide operational oversight on select infrastructure areas aligned with system integration
Partner with infrastructure teams to ensure system stability and performance
Troubleshoot integration-related technical issues
Required Skills :
Project Management expertise - proven ability to deliver complex, cross-functional projects on time and within scope
Financial systems knowledge - understanding of accounting cycles, financial reporting, payments, and reconciliation processes
Risk & dependency management - ability to identify, track, and mitigate project risks
Stakeholder management - excellent communication with both technical and non-technical audiences
Regulatory & compliance awareness - experience working in regulated environments
Problem-solving - systematic approach to resolving integration and operational issues
Cross-functional collaboration - strong ability to coordinate across Finance, IT, and Operations teams
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, IT, or related field
2+ years of project management experience, ideally in finance systems, integrations, or ERP implementations
Prior experience with finance system implementations, API integrations, or third-party platform deployments
Background in banking, fintech, payments, or regulated financial environments is a strong plus
Preferred: PMP or similar PM certification; SAP experience; knowledge of fund management or payment processing
