Overview
The Rec & Proofing Intmd Analyst is a developing professional role within our Global Reconciliation Utility. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the sub function/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information.


Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Client Service Specialist to join our Global Reconciliation Utility team. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless service delivery and effective communication within our internal client service operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage relationships across various levels of the organization.


Responsibilities
● Reporting and Presentation: Prepare, analyse, and deliver comprehensive reports and presentations using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, catering to diverse internal stakeholders.
● Client Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for internal clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
● Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively communicate and collaborate with staff and management at all levels, fostering strong working relationships.
● Operational Support: Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Global Reconciliation Utility by supporting various client service functions.
● Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve client-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
● Team Collaboration: Work both independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.


Qualifications
● Prior experience: 2-5 years relevant experience in financial service sector a plus.
● Experience in Reporting Tools: Proven experience in generating and presenting data-driven reports using Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and creating impactful presentations with Microsoft PowerPoint.
● Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to interact professionally and effectively with all levels of staff and management.
● Teamwork and Autonomy: Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating strong self-management and the capacity to work independently.
● Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
● Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
● Reconciliation Experience: Previous experience with reconciliation processes within a financial services or similar operational environment is a plus, though not mandatory.
