Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer
Role Type: 12-week contract Role (possible extension)
Location: Dublin (Hybrid)
I am currently recruiting an experienced Electrical Engineer to work on Airside Construction Projects in Dublin. This is 12-week contract role, with possibility for extension and requires candidates with a Level 8 degree and who are Chartered or partial Charted. (8 years' experience)
The Ideal Candidate:
- Do you have a Level 8 Qualification in Electrical Engineering?
- Do you have 8+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer?
- Communication & Teamwork across multi-disciplinary teams is essential.
- Flexibility to be onsite for Client Meetings and site walks is required.
- Experience from Design stage and with detailed schematics is needed.
- Experience working with large complex infrastructure teams is necessary.
The role:
- Carry out (and/or managing of others), in the production of detailed calculations using industry standard software tools including Trimble Prodesign, ETAP
- Collaborate with our BIM team to supervise the preparation of models and drawings, with a working understanding of Autodesk Revit.
- Preparing technical specifications
- Site surveys, inspections and monitor site works.
- Adherence to quality, environmental and governance processes.
- Good level of computer literacy in a range of software tools including ETAP, Amtech/Prodesign, Dialux/Relux, NBS and Microsoft packages.
- Familiar with energy reduction methods and approaches to decarbonising new and existing buildings.
- Experience of working in a design consultancy and/or experience of working within a contractor design environment is essential.
- Comfortable working within time and cost budgets as agreed at project briefing meetings.
