Senior Purchasing Administrator

A leading Irish retailer in the home and lifestyle sector is currently seeking a Senior Purchasing Administrator to join their dynamic team in Galway. This well-established company has a nationwide presence and offers a vibrant, growth-focused environment with excellent career development opportunities. This role is primarily focused on supporting the accessories business and will report directly to the Visual Merchandising Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate store transfers and oversee inbound and existing furniture and accessory stock
- Administer accessory-related operations, including seasonal and Christmas activity
- Process both new and existing accessory orders
- Monitor stock levels and manage damages, write-offs, and stock takes
- Handle accessory promotions within the system, including pricing and reductions
- Review and analyse accessory sales and reporting metrics
Skills and Experience:
- Two to three years of experience in a similar administrative or purchasing role
- Strong IT and reporting skills with an excellent telephone manner
- Detail-oriented team player with strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
