Transport & Warehouse Supervisor
Full-Time | Permanent | North Dublin
Our client, a well-established and growing organisation based in North Dublin, is currently seeking an experienced Transport & Warehouse Supervisor to join their operations team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across both transport and warehouse functions, with responsibility for coordinating daily operations and leading a small team. You will play a key role in ensuring deliveries are scheduled efficiently, warehouse activities run smoothly, and high standards of customer service are always maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing day-to-day transport operations including delivery scheduling and route planning
Coordinating a small fleet of in-house drivers and liaising with third-party logistics providers
Overseeing warehouse and yard activities including goods in/out and stock movement
Leading and supporting a team across warehouse and transport functions
Ensuring all deliveries are executed efficiently and on time
Maintaining accurate transport and vehicle records, including compliance documentation
Monitoring stock control processes including cycle counts and inventory accuracy
Supporting health & safety procedures and ensuring adherence across the team
Acting as a point of contact for customers regarding delivery schedules and updates
Identifying opportunities to improve processes
Requirements:
Previous experience in a transport, logistics, or warehouse supervisory/coordinator role
Strong organisational and planning skills
Experience managing or leading a team
ERP/system experience (any similar system acceptable)
Competent Excel skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
Proactive and solutions-driven mindset
Knowledge of Dublin area advantageous
