Are you an experienced Road Freight professional looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a dynamic and organised Transport Operator to coordinate and manage groupage traffic across Ireland and the UK. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about road freight logistics, this could be the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily groupage collections and deliveries across Ireland and the UK.

  • Manage freight movements through Dublin Port, ensuring all customs and documentation requirements are fully met.

  • Liaise daily with hauliers, subcontractors, and customers to schedule and monitor shipments.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date shipment information in the transport management system.

  • Prepare and process customs clearance documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with all road transport legislation and company standards.

  • Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure correct loading/unloading of groupage freight.

  • Monitor driver performance and adherence to delivery schedules.

  • Provide first-line support to drivers and subcontractors throughout their shifts.

  • Assist with fleet management, ensuring all vehicles are maintained and records are up-to-date.

  • Proactively resolve transport and customer issues to maintain high service levels.

  • Collaborate with management to implement best practices and improve daily operations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2-3 years' experience in a road freight forwarding role, with a focus on groupage.

  • Strong working knowledge of Dublin Port operations, customs procedures, and port systems.

  • Experience managing UK-Ireland freight movements post-Brexit.

  • Proficiency in transport management systems and Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent organisation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Understanding of customs processes and transport compliance standards.
